Wheres my cell phone!?
Over several years of school technology has advanced classroom activities. For example, in the class I have used clickers, calculators, and smart board technology. To study I have also used calculators, google, YouTube, and dictionary.com and there are many other valuable sources used throughout the Internet. I feel that technology is not necessary for learning, but it is definitely a valuable tool to learn things faster, organization, and to use different learning methods for a better learning experience.

Accounting and Technology
I am an accounting major and I chose a video that relates with accouting and the real value of technology. Dr. David Martin describes how technology is not the software itself; it is the mechanisms whereby you assemble components from each of the other elements and you assemble them for a specific use in context. We use technology everyday and the techniques we use to construct answers through technology is the true meaning of technology and not the software itself. Accountants use technology by filing all of their records under computer access.

Introduction to Info 211
My name is Michael Swearingen and I am a second semester sophmore. I play linebacker for the Salisbury football team and this is my first time using a blog. I am very eager to begin the semester and I hope to gain better knowledge and computer skills during this course.
